Ban Saphan Boon Bang Saray (stray dog)

Ban Saphan Bun Bang Sare is a private animal shelter located in Bang Sare, Sattahip District, Chon Buri, dedicated to rescuing and caring for stray, sick, and disabled animals. Founded and primarily managed by Uraiwan Khae-so (fondly known as Auntie Khao), the shelter provides a permanent home for over a thousand animals, primarily stray dogs alongside cats and other animals in need.

Operating largely on donations and the tireless personal efforts of its founder, the facility faces constant challenges in securing daily provisions such as rice, crushed chicken, and dry dog food to feed the large population of animals. Visitors and compassionate supporters frequently contribute supplies, funds, or volunteer their time to help alleviate the daily operational costs associated with feeding, medical treatment, and general animal welfare.

There is no admission fee to visit the shelter, as it is a non-profit rescue organization. However, operational funding depends entirely on voluntary public donations, monetary contributions via bank transfer or PromptPay, and donations of essential supplies such as rice, dry pet food, and chicken.

The shelter is located in a quiet local area of Bang Sare sub-district within the Sattahip District of Chon Buri province, surrounded by local neighborhood properties and open land plots.

The shelter is located at Moo 3, Bang Sare, Sattahip District, Chon Buri. For specific route guidance or to coordinate visits and drop off donations, visitors can contact Auntie Khao directly by phone.
