Dog
Tao is a blue-grey Thai Ridgeback, the colour of a rainy Khon Kaen sky. He is serious about work, which means chasing lizards on the garden wall from sunrise until it gets hot. By noon he is flat on the cool tiles with his belly up. He is wary of new people but will lean his whole weight on you once he decides you are family.
A hot April afternoon, a normally lizard-obsessed Ridgeback who lay down and would not get up, and a quick trip to the vet in Khon Kaen. He is fine now, and so are our habits.
