Hamster

Sakoo

Sakoo, named after tapioca pearls, is a tiny white-and-grey Russian dwarf hamster who runs about eight kilometres on his wheel each night. I put the cage in the cool corner of my Chiang Mai apartment because the heat is bad for hamsters, so ask a vet about it. His favourite thing is sunflower seeds, which he hides in his cheeks and in my shoe.
