Hachi

Hachi is a Shiba Inu with a ginger coat, white cheeks and zero interest in what I tell him. In Bophut he walks at his own pace and stops dead if he dislikes the street. He sits on the cool concrete steps of our porch like a little monk, squinting at the world, and does the famous Shiba scream at the vet and at bath time. He loves the smell of the fish market.
